Here at UniCourse our mission is to help individuals in their school, work and personal lives by offering easily-affordable distance learning courses for those looking to develop and expand their knowledge and education from the comfort of their own homes.
Meet our team
Michael created EO and Engineering Tutor UniCourse back in March 2014, whilst teaching HNC/D engineering students in north west colleges. A specialist in engineering mathematics and circuits, he pioneered Bluetooth circuitry as a designer at the turn of the millennium. He is still one of our very active full-time teachers, as well as being CEO.
Mike has over 32 years experience in the higher education sector, carrying out teaching and research in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He also has experience in the teaching of engineering mathematics at university level.
Geraint has over 20 years experience in higher education, teaching Thermodynamics, Marine Engineering and Fluid Mechanics. Prior to entering higher education he had 23 years industrial experience designing propulsion and power generation plants.
Geoff is a fully qualified tutor with over 30 years teaching experience in both further and higher education. In recent years, Geoff developed virtual learning programs for BTEC Electrical/Electronic engineering programs.
Mohammed has over 20 years experience in educational leadership & management, curriculum development, teaching, learning & assessment, in the field of aeronautical engineering in the UK and abroad. He is a senior external verifier for Pearson Edexcel BTEC programmes and ensures that UniCourse provides the highest quality delivery and assessment to our students. Mohammed has several degrees in engineering.
Rodrigo has BEng (Hons) in Computer Engineering and specialises in mathematics, circuits, and software systems. He is also responsible for developing our Virtual Learning Environment Platform (Moodle) and providing technical support.
Jen has over 16 years’ experience in management. She joined the UniCourse family in 2016 and is the Principal for all Higher National qualifications, and ILM distance learning courses. Her duties cover all aspects of internal and external operations. Jen directs all of our engineering tutors.
Sarah has 12+ years of experience in customer service and client account management. She is in charge of the day-to-day office duties as well as supporting recruitment and the sales team. Sarah ensures that the office remains a comfortable, welcoming and wonderful place to work for all the staff members at UniCourse.
Samantha has over 10 years experience in the field of employee training. She manages our Administration Department as well as our Direct B2B training programmes, providing businesses with in-depth face-to-face training solutions for their employees. Her training specialities include business administration and organisational development, Microsoft provider training and software development.
Beth is a Digital Marketeer with 6 years of experience working in the marketing industry. Her focus is on promoting our courses online to new potential students. She also assists in various graphic design projects for UniCourse.
Joe is a content creator with many years of experience working within education. He specialized with his bachelor’s in education and English literature, and from this, he has worked closely with children who needed specialized support and care. His experiences in teaching have motivated him to find a way to deliver education in a new and innovative way.
Katie is a Media Director with experience creating high quality videos for educational purposes as well as social media. Katie has also worked as a videographer which helps create a dynamic view when it comes to shooting and editing videos.
